This video camera trap features a Sony camera, triggered by a Wireless PIR Sensor and Sony Video Cable v2. Lighting is provided by two LED Video Lights, both powered by central NP-F batteries.
This example setup shows the Waterproof Cable System being used to create a video camera trap with a Sony camera and two off-camera LED Video Lights.
Apart from the batteries contained within the Wireless PIR Motion Sensor v3 and Wireless Receivers, the trap is powered by three NP-F type batteries. The batteries for the Video Lights are conveniently stored in a central Waterproof Battery Enclosure. The signals from the Wireless PIR Motion Sensor are carried to the Video Lights through the waterproof cables, along with the power from the NP-F batteries.
The lighting is automatically turned on and off in-sync with the camera’s recording using DC Power Switches connected to each LED Video Light. Waterproof connections are made into all of the equipment enclosures using the Female Waterproof Enclosure Entry Cables.
