Our camera trap sensors can be used to start and stop video recording on many mirrorless camera models. This makes it possible to shoot high-quality HD or 4k video camera trap footage. All you need to get started is one of our Camera Trap Sensors and a connecting cable for your camera.
Sony
Setting up a Sony Interchangeable Lens camera trap is the most popular option and possible using our Sony “Multi Cable”. This can be used to start and stop video recording on cameras with the Multi Terminal input socket, such as the Sony A7 range, A7S / A7R range, A5000, A6000 etc. Some newer Sony APS-C models do not have a multi socket and will therefore not work in a camera trap setup.
